The Scientific Committee of the Annual Scientific Meeting in Anaesthesiology 2017 cordially invites you to submit abstracts for Free Paper or e-Poster Presentations at the Meeting.
Presentation of abstracts may be considered for recognition as a formal project requirement for trainees in anaesthesiology of the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists. A prize will be awarded for the Best Formal Project at the HKCA Congregation on 19 November 2017.
Abstract must be submitted in English. The Abstract Submission Form File is in MS Word (.doc) format and the abstract text should be typed in the Abstract Text Box provided.

Abstract Format:
a) Font Face must be Times New Roman.
b) Font Size of the Main Text must be 12-point. Single line spacing.
c) Maximum 300 words: Your abstract may be rejected if the word limit is exceeded.
d) You are recommended to organize the body of the abstract as follows:
- Background / Objective
- Methodology / Implementation
- Results
- Conclusion
Important Notes:
| a) | Deadline for Abstract Submission: extended to 31 October 2017 |
| b) | Submitted abstracts should NOT have been presented or published prior to this Meeting. |
| c) | Notification of acceptance will be sent to presenters by email in Early November 2017. |
| d) | Guideline and mode of presentation will be provided upon receipt of the acceptance notice. |
| e) | If you submit the abstract for HKCA Trainees’ Project Presentation, advance acceptance of your project by Review Panel from HKCA is required. |
| f) | All presenters must register as a paid delegate before 7 November 2017. Your presentation will NOT be included in the Final Programme Book if you fail to do so. |
